WetlrngtOHj April 6. Tho Presbyterian Church at Island Bay was burned down this evening. The origin of the lire is unknown. The insurances totalled £880.
A two-storey bouse of ten rooms on Thormion Quay, owned by Mrs E. M. Clapcott and occupied by Mrs Dora Aiunn as a boarding-house, was gutted by. firo at a lat-o hour. The insurances are not available. The occupants all got <)ui safely.
