. On Saturday the Kapura Cli^b took a team to Brightwater, and suffered defeat by nine wickets. The' town men scored 50 and i) 0 (Bensemann 11 ( and 14, Thomason 28, Langford 10, Neale 8 and 14, Hai-greaves 8), and' Brightwater 92 (Haycock 33, H. Knapp 20), and one for 50, T. Knaop making most of the runs. The best bowling averages were:—Brightwater: John-! ston six for 25, Lines three for 24 and ! six for 35, Hall four for 10. Kamura: Thomason four for 38, Neale five for 25, Hargreaves one for 0. |
