PUNISHMENT FOR INSUBORDINA-

Roports from Doberitz state that Briti.-,h prisoners refused to work when the Germans threatened to employ them on the highways and canals. The men were punished only on the recommendation of" their own sergeants, and were then tied to trees. The prisoneta ax© uc*> aWowed to smoke. Tto^ have ample supplies of food, but- complain of its quality.
