BIRKENHEAD DOCK TROUBLE

Mr Lloyd George . states that the late Lord Rothschild recommended in August that he should double the Income Tax, with a heavier super-tax for war expenditure. The Birkenhead dockers are still refractory over working at the week-end. Many steamers are idle.
