HAMILTON HODGES CONCERTS.
Local concert patrons scarcely need a reminder of the attractive entertainments which are promised by Mr Hamilton Hodges and the musicians associated with him in the School of Music to-night and to-morrow night. Suffice is to say that a good deal of interest is being manifested in the concerts, and the programmes, in which Miss Eileen Driscoll (mezzo-soprano), Mivs Rene Queree (accompanist), Mr Hodges (baritone), and Signor Giovanni Vitetta Chavpist) collaborate, have met with favour in local musical circles. Mr Hodges's name in the New ZenlanrJ. realm of song is synonymotis with all that is expressive and artistic in the rendition of works by modern comnosors, and his reappearance on the local concert platform, after an absence of pight years, will be welcomed. There has hcp.ll <i keen demand for reserved seats for to-night's musicale. 'The box plan will be open at Begg's today.
