THE CAUCASUS.
A TURKISH EVACUATION
London, March 17
The advance of the Caucasian armies beyond the Chorok rise has compelled the Turks to evacuate the Murgul Valley. The local copper mines, owned by an English company, have been worked by Germans. A maximum output of ore has been exported, but the machinery has been left intact, probably in the hope of an early return of the enemy.
