CORRESPONDENCE.

MR GRAHAM AND THE HARBOUR BOARD. i

(To the Editor of "The Colonist.")

Sir, —I see by this morning's "Colonist" that Mr Graham denies that he occupied the seat referred to on the \ Nelson Harbour Board at our meeting on Tuesday, and even if he had desired to do so he had no legal right to attend any of the last four meetings of the Harbour Board. The Board had notification on May sth "that Mr J.. Graham and Mr Snodgrass had been appointed members of the Board as Government representatives; on June 2nd Mr J. Graham asked- for and was granted leave of absence, therefore acknowledging his occupation of the seat. I am, etc., GEO. MACMAHON, Aoting Chairman N.H.B. Ootober 7th. 1914.
