British Lancers and French troops on Monday on the extreme western wing got between the German main body and the Imperial Guard, cutting off and destroying an artillery train and other supplies. Casualties amongst French officers are out of all proportion to those among the men. Every German regiment has a small body of sharpshooters specially j detailed to pick off officers. !
