BELGIAN RELIEF FUND.
Committee to receive money or goods: Mrs MacKenzie, Mrs Kempthorne, Miss Atkinson, and Mrs Emmett. _ A-subscription list is open at the Bank of New Zealand. Tlie Mayor of Nelson (Mr W. Lock) has received the following letter from the Acting-Consul for Belgium for Westland, Maryborough, and Nelson (Mr Cyril Ward):—"l would le glad to rective any funds that you have in hand for the relief of the great suffering caused in Belgium by the terrible war. Remittances, are being made by me from time to time to the authorities in Belgium, and any sums you send me for the purpose will be duly acknowledged in the public Press. Should any of your donors desire their names togo forward, you might provide me with the necessary particulars, and I will give the matter my attention."
