I regret to have to chronicle the death of Mr. Lyne, aged 74, who died at his residence on Wednesday, 27th May, after nearly a month's' illness, which was borne with great patience. His father was Mr. John Lyne. Mr. Lyne came out with his parents as a boy from England, and spent a lot of his time in and around Collingwood. His funeral took place at St. John's churchyard on Friday, the ceremony being performed.by the- Rev. J. R. Dart, vicar of Wakefield. -Mr. Lyne leaves Wo daughters Tind one son. '
