Tho evening opened with a pianoforte- solo by Miss FAaa Griflin, and solos were also given by Miss Madge- Rankin and Dorothy Still. A recitation and march by the scholars of tho infant school, which well deserved its repetition, was given later in the evening. The chief event was the production of "Cinderella," in "which the principal parts- were taken by the following children: "Cinderella," Miss Muriel Egerton; "The Wicked. Sisters," Miss Jean Buckeridge and Miss Dorothy Budden; "Queen,'' Miss Elsa Griffon; "Fairy Godmother," Audrey Rankin; "King," Master Roly Jaques ; "Prince Charming," Douglas Fowler; "Baron Gruntheim," Lindsay Rankin ; "Herald," Ray Thome.. All the children acquitted themselves remarkably well, and their voices were heard in every part of the hall. Tho "Chorus of Fairies," which was sung by th© whole school, was most effective. After the presentation of prizes by the vicar, the Rev. John Vosper, the children gave a very pretty dance in fancy costume, and a most successful evening was brought to a close by the singing of "God Save the King."
