AVhon Mr .Jamicson's action against the Chalmers Church was before tho Supreme Court last month, counsel for the defence raised a question as to whether the Attorney-General and tho trustees of tho Foreign Missions Board should not hove been joined as parties to th ? transaction. In an interim judgment this morning Mr Justice Sim held that wh>?rct an" action was brought to remedy any, abuse or misapplication of charitablo funds the Attornoy-Gcneral is Ihe proper plaintiff. The present suit would would not be allowed to proceed until he had been added as a party. It would' he sufficient if the AtiornoyGeneral was added as defendant;.
