The tennis matches occupied the whole afternoon, and time did not permit of the finishing of the doubles. In the singles old boys won four sets and College two sets, and in the doubles College won three sets, and wer© leading by four to three in the unfinished doubles games. The scores were: Singles (old boys names first): Boyes beat Wilkinson 6 —3; Mead beat Jenkins 6 —5; Frank lost to Whitwell I—6; Clark lost to Vercoe 4—6; Nixon beat Angus &—4; Cock beat K. Wilson 6—2. Doubles (old boys names first): Boyes and Mead lost to Wilkes and Whitwell (unfinished) 3—4; Clark and Nixon lost to Vercoe and Angus 5—6; Frank and Cock lost to Wilson and Jenkins 5—6.
