IN DIVORCE
Gi-abarn Shaw, for whom Mr. A. T. Maginnity appeared, petitioned for a divorce from his wife, Ella Shaw, on the grounds of desertion. The parties were married on 23rd December, 1903, at the residence of Mi;. G. B. Winter, at Wainui. After tlleir marriage they resided for about two years at iPuramahoi, and then went to Wellington, where petitioner obtained employment. "They resided there for about three months. Petitioner tlion went to •Ohakune, and after being there,about five months he asked respondent to join him, but she wrote refusing, and stated that she' fully intended not to live with him again. Petitioner, counsel stated, had done nothing to warrant respondent refusing to live with him, and ho asked for a rule nisi. The suit was undefended.
