The district court convocation of Victoria College University was held this evening, and it discussed the Senate's Bill proposing the reconstruction of the University of New Zealand. A resolution was adopted approving of tlu? principle of the proposed amendment of the University Act, but expressing the opinion that it leaves unsolved the vital problems of New Zealand University education, concerning which Parliament should set up a ."Royal Commission of investigation.
