BLOOD RITUAL SEQUEL.

- Mr Boris Beriand, a member of the London staff of the "New York American," was arrested at Kieff, Russia) on December 22nd. He was in Kieff engaged in translating the memoirs of Mendel Beiliss, the Russian Jew who was recently acquitted- at Kieff of the so-called ritual murder of tha boy Yuschinsky. A message received at the London office of the "American stated that Mr. Beriand's release had been promised. The police had searched his belongings in an endeavour to find the Beiliss memoirs, which' the Government had ordered to be confiscated. Mr Beriand informed the police that the memoirs had been sent away. . .
