NEW SOUTH WALES RAILWAY AWARD.
I'Rcoived Sept 22, S.oo p.m.) Sydney, Sept 22. Mr Justice Heydon, in the Arbitration Court, dismissed the Railway Commissioner's appeal against the Wages j Board award increasing drivers' and1 firemen's pay and shortening their hours, involving an extra outlay of £60,000 per annum. His Honour held that their increased anxieties and responsibilities, and the advanced cost of living, entitled the men to the increase.
