Mr. T. A. Blake, Government Vetcrmafmn, wko has been engaged in the .Nelson district for the lust couple of months, returned to Wellington yesterday. ' r The deaths are anjiounced of Brigadier Ernest Holdaway, of the Salvation Army. Deceased was a native of Richmond, and has, some brothers and other relatives living in the Nelson district; the Rev J. M. Davidson, a Presbyterian minister, aged 84 years; Mr Jolm Hunt Currie, an ex-Mayor of Ross, aged ,2 years; Mr J. J. Tacon, of Sumner, aged 73 years. Deceased wasfather of Mr G. L. Tacon, of the Lower Aloutoro.
