. A remarkable tragedy occurred at North Sydney, where a young man named Drysdalo sbct a friend, Miss Day, dead, and thw <hot and injured himself seriousK. Dry.sdalo is believed to bo s-vtfWi™? from religious mania.
He made a rambling statement at the hospital, saying that he looked up to heaven and something told him ho must take his life, whereupon he went insido and did the shooting. He added that the Bible referred to a new life hereafter, and he wanted to go there with Miss Day.
