RUSSIAN SCHOOLBOY'S ADVENTURES.
The little towi...lrip of'Luga, which lies within tho St. Petersburg government, has been discussing with interest and anxiety tho adventures of half-a-dozen local schoolboys, bare'y in their teens, who recently ran away in order to fight for ..Montenegro*- The lads, filling their knapsacks, with provisions, and having a joint capital of fortyfour copecks (something less than a shilling), started stealthily on their journey, one of them, tho son of doctor, taking with him a phial of strychnine, the young adventurers having decided ,to poison themselves should their enterprise fail. Tho party had only proceeded a dozen miles or so on its way when discord broke out in the camp, and,, after a desperate fight, three of tho boys returned to Luga. One of the remaining three expressed a wish to follow them, but his comrades threatened to poison him if he deserted them, and ho was compelled to remain with them until, whilst they were asleep by night in a forest, ho mado his escape. The fate of the other two boys was not known when the last mail left.
