Auckland, Jan ,2. tlxo -Elunket shield match between Wellington and Auckland was continued. Auckland carried the score to 279, on reply to Wellington's 201. Hemus lib up 85 in excellent style. Welling-ton-opened disastrously in their second ©ffort, losing live wickets for eleven runs. Oliff took all five wickets, and rooeiyed a great ovation when returning tor tho pavilion.
