"ARGUS" PROPRIETORS FINED

The six proprietors of the "Argus" were fined 20s each and six guineas costs, for publishing an unsigned article commenting on the Wcrriwa election candidates, in contravention of the new Electoral Act. These were tho first cases of the kind.
Tho "Argus" will appeal to the High 'Court. ■■-■-■
