FEELING OF THE MEMBERS.

SUPPORT FOR DEMOCRATIC PRO-

GRAMME

The feeling at present among Parliamentarians is that the line of cleavage for the future, and in the immediato present, will be between tlie Moderate Liberals on the- one hand, and the Radicals and Socialists on the other. Nothing is quita certain at present, except that the Opposition is the dominant party, and tha£ a number of members ■who hitherto have worked with what is known as the Government' Party, are inclined to associate themselves with the Reform Party, sine© its politics most nearly conform with their own views, and support a thoroughly progressive democratic policy in the future.
