A pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. Mr. A tskon- on Monday afternorm at St. Mark's Church, Welington, which was beauti/ully' decorated by tfo& girl friends of the brido. Miss Daisy Kerslake, only daughter -of Mr. and Mrs .1. <). Kerslalcu, of Brougham street, Wellington, was married to Mr. Stephen G. Oowies, fourth son of Mr. Edward' Cowl-c-s, Richmond. The bride was.drpssod in a gown of whits Duchesse satin, trimmed with handsome* silk late, embroidered vie! and wreath of orange b.ossoms. She carried. an American shower bouquet. Slip was attended by three bridesmaids, Misses Vora Mo rah, Lucy Clater, and Ella KersJako (cousins). The bridegroom's brother, Mr. Jack Cowlesl was best man. and Messrs Lawrenca and Kerslak© (the brother of the bnde) wfro groomsmen. After tho ceremony a reception v/as held at the l^esidenco of- the bride's mother, Mrs. Kor&lake. Tho presents were numerous and handsome, including presentations from Messrs. DaJgety and Co. and the Star Boating Club to the bride-groom, who has been a roomer of the club for years. Amongst the. guests were Mrs, Edward Co-wle-s (mother of the bridegroom) in a gown of black uinon do soie and a black bonnet. Mr and Mrs. Cowlos spend their honeymoon in the south. rJTlio bride's travelling (ires-s was a navy tailored costume,"a black Dat with plumes, and a handsome* set of fox furs, the gift of th© bridegroom, who received a- gold albert from the bndc_"Tixnes."
