REPORTS GROW IN GRAVITY
THOUSANDS ARE HOMELESS
New York, May 7
Flood reports from the Torras grow in gravity. People have been swept off the roofs of houses. Water is exceeding the height of tho telegraph poles. Several persons were rescued afloat on wooden houses. Thousands are known to be homeless in one district.
