GALLANT LIFEBOAT CREW

New York, May 6

The steamer Vosburg is stranded at the entrance to the Heharem river, Oregon. Heavy seas broko over the vessel during the whole night, making it impossible to rescue the crew. A great hole was swept in the,-bows of tho Vosburg. Finally, after an heroic effort the Government life saving crew put off in a lifeboat, and managed to rescue tho crew in the last stages of exhaustion.
