7 This game, at the Reserve, was won by the shield holders by 4to 3, although, as in the Richmond game, the country team led by 1 to 0 at half-time. Immediately after the commencement of the second spell Wai-Mai set to work in much better style, and soon had three goals on, the forth being.added shortly afterwards. Stoke then attacked again and put in two more good goals. Stratton, Switzer (2), and Whit.weU for WaiMai, and Martin (2) and Menzios for Stoke, were the scorers. Messrs. W. Dee and W. Savages acted as referees.
