Tho Prime Minister (the. Hon. T. Mackenzie) is expected to arrive in Nelson, on Sunday next.
Mr. A. E. Cresswell, of Christchurch, accompanied by his daughter, is at present paying a visit to his son, Mr. E. S. Cresswell.
The Hon. Mr. Macdonald, Minister for Public Works, leaves for Blenheim by coach this morning, and will join the Pateena at Picton to-morrow evening for Wellington.
The death is announced of Mr. Richard Monk, who for some years sat in the House of Representatives as member for the Waitemata electorate.
The Hons. W. D. S. Macdonald and G-. Laurensou, and Mr. H. Atmore, M.P.^ were tbe- guests of Mr H. Bnigent (chairman of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board) ofc dinner yesterday.
