Bates' weather forecast and summary from f> p.m. to-day • — Anti-cyclonic conditions- nave prevailed with cloudy and misty Aveather in the northern and southernmost districts, but fair weather has been experienced generally, though overcast at times .elsewhere. Modo.ro.te to strong-easterly ■winds' have prevailed northward of Auckland, and variable breezes f*ls<v -high eastei'ly winds northward of East where. Present indications arc "'<'"■ •Cape, and Ktiwliia. and moderate to ..strong northerly Ayiiids elsewhere. Mild hazy conditions, with increasing ''cloudiness, arc probable everywhere, but rain may bo expected to follow shortly in northern and southern most (listrictf). The barometer lias a falling .tendency everywhere.
