FATAL BAYONET CHARGE. MARTIAL LAW PROCLALMED. (Received Jan 17, 0.20 a.m.) New York, Jan 16. Fifteen thousand hands aro kilo in connection with the mill strike at Lawrence, Massachusetts. The city has been placed under martial law. A bayonet chargo resulted in, fatal injuries to a boy, and scores were treated for slight wounds. Tlie striko originated as a protest against a reduction of pay.
