Last night there was a largo gathering of members of the Loyal Nelson Good Templars Lodge at the residence of Sister Fairey, the District Deputy, to meet Sister (Jrimley, the recently arrived missionary from England. In a hearty and kindly speech the District Deputy gave a hearty welcome .to Sister, fGrimley, and' expressed, the hops? that her mission in this Dominion would prove successful. The gathering was a very happy. one, and a programme comprising soiigs, recitations, "and musical selections -was given. A very hearty vote of. thanks was accorded to Sister Fairey for her hospitality fUste? Crimley' expressed her "ivurfoiation of the kindness shown h«r. finV ;tbo pood wishes expressed for her success in New Zealand. , :. >■ Mr. Thomr.s Cawthron has donated .£soo.towards, the Nelson Institute Building Fund.
