Hamilton, May 15. A smart arrest was made by the police here this morning. A young man named Christie, who escaped from custody by leaping off a train near Invcrcargill some time ago was arrested in a toy shop. When se rchrd, a loaded rovo:ver, also allrj .<! to be part of the proceeds of a ser/es of burglaries here, was found in his possession.
