The above game was commenced at the Park on Saturday. The wicket was good, except for an occasional low ball. Old Boys won tha toss and batted. They were without Richmond \Cooke, Wright and Bisley from an already weak team. The tirst wicket scored 30, and the total (for ten men) I reached 92—Morale 24, McCabe and J. ! McKay 23, Griffith and Hunter scored the host analyses. Phoenix started badly, aiitl had 4 for 11, and later 6 for 20 (Neale 6 for 9). Griffith, who wi&s tlrr'pned once, and Hunter mad« doubles, and tha innings reached 55, or 37 behind. Old Boys in the second innings made things lively, and McKay brothers in half an hour put on 70 for the first w'eket, Harry McKay having 50 of that niimbp'r when the partnership was broken. lUni'a iiamn from nearly every ball all round the wicket. Webley was run out without addition, and then runs came quickly again, and the total reached 109 for 2. J. McKay hit 2 sixers. Old Boys are 146 to the good with eight wickets to fall.
