A COURAGEOUS LADY,
New Plymouth, March 16.
Two youngsters, about eeven and eight years of age, wore bathing on the open beach at Moturoa this afternoon, when one of them got into difficulties beyond ins depth. Miss Richmond, who was bathing near by, gallantly responded to his cries for help, and held him Tip till two brothers, named Charters, rushed in and relieved her of her charge, when ehe promptly fainted in tho water, and had to be carried ashore.
