. A drowning fatality occurred nrnr Orange. Four boys^-Ceei'l Hartas, Richard Hartas, Roney Hirst,- and Joseph Hayes—between tho ages of 7 and 12 years, played truant from school and went crayfishing in a dam.

One of them fell in and the other; tried to save him. All wero drowned

Albert Auborson, another schoolboy, who was presentment homo at dinner time and some time afterwards informed his parents of tho tragedy. Asked why he did not tell them sooner, he said he forgot.
