WEATHER FORECAST.

Wellington March 10. Tho following is tho Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:— Moderate to strong Routhorly winds have prevailed, with fair to cloudy weather and .showers in parts on tlio East Coast. Tho barometer has risen in the southern districts but htt.o movement is recorded m the North. Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and southerly winds elsewhere. Fair weather will probably prevail, though the conditions arc likely to be at times somewhat unsettled on the East Coast or the North Island. Little movement of the barometer is anticipated immediately, but a fiill is clue after 24 hours.
