NELSON REGATTA.

There was a fairly large attendance at the regatta yesterday, which was a great success. Chief interest was centred in the rowing races, of which Pieton won three, the junior fours (clinker boats) and the senior and junior fours) best a.nd host boots), and gained two second ploces. Blenheim won the maiden fours, and Nelson the youths' fours. Kawatiri ("VVostport) did not gain a place. Tho sailing and power boat races also attracted a good deal of interest. Hamilton 3 Won easily. Time, 39 seconds. L. McDonald won the spring-board diving. The water polo match, A. team v. B. team, was won by 13. team by 3 goals, shot by Emerson and Bush (2), to one goal, shot by Switzer. SAILING AND MOTOR POWER.
