A COMPARISON
The number of entries at yesterday's show— los3— constituted \i record, and demonstrated the remarkable growth of the Association' since its iiir auguratibn in 1893, when the entries totalled 483. From that year until 1903 steady progress was made, the total entries for the Show then, beins 989. In the following year the iniplemont manufacturers arid agents ceased exhibiting on a large scale" and there was in consequence^ a slight decrease; However, the three following years saw the entries steadily'increasing, but in 1908 there Was again a falling off, 743 exhibits only being shown. Last j-ear the total again increased to .983, and this year all previous records have, been broken.
