FUNERAL OF SERGEANT MAGUIRE.
PROCESSION HALF A MILE IN LENGTH. Wellington, April 17. .The burial of Sojgeant Maguire took place this afternoon at Karori Cemetery. There was a vory large attendance. The hearse was preceded and surrounded by nearly ona' hundred members of the police force. About seventy carriages followed, andthere were many people. The cortege was about half a mile long.
