FIRE AT WANGANUI.

TELE STRAND CAFE GUTTED. ' [United Phesi Association.] Wanganul, April 14. A fire broke out to-night in the premises in Ridgway street,' occupied by Dustins and known as the Strand Cafe Ltd. The building was gutted and its contents destroyed. Owing to Mr Dustins' absence from town the exact -insurances are not available, but it is thought the stock was insured for £300 in the London and Lancashire office, and. the building was also insured for £300. The adjoining premises escaped injury, save that Mr Gaffney, jeweller, had Ms stock injured by water. ,
