FIRE AT PALMERSTON NORTH.

[United Phess Association.] Palmerston North, March 31. A lire broke out at 12.50 this worning in the rooms-in the Square occupied by Mr A. V. Burnard, dentist. and when discovered had burni through three rooms, to the stairway. Half a gale was blowing at the time, but the lire brigade got the li« under before it had obtained a good hold. The outbreak occurred apparently among some shaviugs in the workroom, and spread along joists ir the side wall. The building was in- ' sured for £425 in the Alliance office. On March 14th an outbreak occurred in the same rooms, but was extinguished with slight damage.
