A shocking case of child murder is being investigated by the Criminal Court, a wharf labourer named Brady being accused of tho murder of aai infant six months old. .Tho mother of the child testified that Brady gave it laudajium, but as the first dose did not act he gave it another, and finally strangled it. with a bit of brass wire. Brady told her subsequently that lie removed the; bladder so that the body would not float, and then dropped tho body into tho harbour.
