The trustees appointed to control the memorial fellowships for medical -esearch, established by the late Mr \lf red Beit, has elected ten candidates including Mr G. M. Mathieson, who rill conduct research in connection rith respiration. Each- appointment arries £250 a year for three years. Applications for tho second election nust be received by tho trustees beore November 15th next.
