AMUSEMENTS.
ROYAL STANDARD PICTURES. Change night at the Druids' Hall on Saturday evening brought with it quite a new programme of excellent cinematograph studies, and a crowded audience, whose interest in tue many good things provided was evhuv ed by bursts of applause and laugh-* ter throughout the entire bill. Some of the films deserve more praise than space will permit, but "Julius Caesar," "In Old Kentucky," and "The Twelve o'clock Express," stand out in an all-round, tip-top programme. "The Leprachaun," an Irish fairy tale with a love story and an eviction that is stopped in time by the herd, who thanks to fairy gold, is able to pay off the mortgage, and all ends happily. "On the Zambesi," is a fine scenic subject, irrespective of the interest attached to the scene of the forthcoming sculling match for. the championship of the world, a splendid view of the Victoria Falls and the river above it being. given. The comic element was supplied by "The "Suffragette's Dream," "Black Hand," ■"Charming Children," "Women Chauffeurs," and "He Tried on Handcuffs," all particularly strong compellers of laughter. The same bill will bo screened to-night.
