The statement makes it clear that the mine owners' terms in granting a conference are that when the Wages Board meets again the miners mast submit their grievances and the pits must be ready to receive the miners on Wednesday morning, and the miiers must be ready to go to work at the usual time under the old conditnus. When these conditions are oompi'.;d with the Wages Board will proceed with its work. The South Clifton is the only Southern mine now idle. It is blocked by an old standing local difficulty.
