IN THE CITY.
On Saturday evening there was a largo crowd in the city, who remained m the vicinity of the Masonic Hotel in anticipation of the arrival of His Excellency, it having been rumoured that he would not reach Nelson until the. evening. The Nelson Garrison Band, which was stationed on the balcony of the hotel, played a number of really line selections, which were much appreciated by tho public.
