Mr Allan explained that .tlie license was required to give a title to buildings used as Manager's house. Application granted. C. Y. Fell, application for special claim at the Quartz Eanges. (Mr Allan for applicant). The Warden referred to. his rule that where no survey was required a sketch plan must be produced. There was -nothing in the application to identify the locality of the land. In all cases where application was made in respect of nnsurveyed laud the locality should be roughly ascertained by. reference to some adjacent natural feativre of 'be land.
