Grand Stand Handicap: Waiata 1, Valentine 2, Jiarero 3. Also started, Tarcna. Waiata won' by two and a half lengths. — Omata Hack Handicap : Red Wing 1, Toanga 2, Timothy 3. Also started, Bay Paul and Pioneer. Won by halt a length. . Paul Memorial Handicap : Swimming Belt 1, Wee Trinket 2, Golden E^gle 3. Also started, Roosevelt, Sandstrcam, Mendip, Lady Menschikoff, No Trumps and Coromandol. Swimming Belt won by nearly two lengths, Weo Trinket being a long neck ahead of Golden Eagle, Mendip was fourth. Second Welter. Handicap : Lethean 1, Miss Adranco 2, Perolina 8. AJsci started, Cyrene, Chase Mab, Astrola, Starboard and Karewara. Won all out by a length and a half, a length -between the -second and third horses. Kawau Hack Handicap : Zennia 1 , Paul 2, Bisinark 3. Also started : Silva, Queen's Prize and Tho Reiver. Won by a length, Bismark two lengths away. Farewell Handicap: Taitoko 1, Clemora 2, Wee Trinket 3. The only starters. Won easily by half a length. Final Hack Flutter: St Tarra 1, Speedy Meg 2, St Prior 3. Also started, Scarlet Woman, Nukukau^ Silver Fox, Red Lupin, Sinn Fein. This race was spoiled by an unfortunate happening at the start, Nukuhau fallin" just at tho start and bringing down Silver Fox and Scarlet Woman.
