ARRIVAL OF AUSTRALIAN TEAM. [United Fbess Association.] Wellington, Feb. 9. The Australian cricketers arrived .from Sydney by the Moeraki to-day, and were met by the cricket officials. Later. j The Australian cricketers were welcomed by Dr Newman, the Mayor, at tho Town Hall this afternoon. The team is comprised as follows: From Victoria, Warwick Armstrong (captain), D. Smith, and T. S. Warne. From New South Wales. W. Bardsley (vice-captain), C. Keileway, C. E. Simpson, S. H. Emery, A. J. Hopkins, and C. R. Gorry. From South Australia, F. R. Mayne and W. J. Whitty. Erom Tasmania, N. Dodds and A. C. Tacy. They are on, the young side, &nd are said to be as "keen as mustard." The match with Wellington com- - mences at the Basin Reserve at 2 p.m. on Friday. Laws will replace Hawthorne, who has dropped out, in the Wellington team.
