SUBURBAN NORTH.

The usual monthly meeting of the Suburban North Road Board was held on Friday at the Hillside school. Members present were Messrs H. Wastney (acting chairman), W. H. Alborough, T. W. .Anderson, E. W. Frost, and A. Dodson. Accounts amounting to £14 4s 2d were passed for payment. The Overseer reported that he had inspected the ford on the road leading up to A. Gibb's, and he estimated that a stone rubble wall, lowering a bank, and filling in would cost about £15, as a concrete bridge and lowering banks and filling in, £22. He recommended tiiat about 15 chains of gravelling be done on the Lud road.

Gill's widened by filling in with large stones. — That the clerk apply to Messrs J. Morrison and E. W. Frost for a refund of amount paid for disinfecting their houses. — That tho clerk make out the balance sheet re small birds account as before.
